Honing Process is done by honing machine, our cylinder Liners bores are cross honed and diameters are properly ground finish to achieve the highest level of accuracy and Surface roughness as per customer specifications.
Quintess International uses honing, which is an abrasive machining method that involves
scraping an abrasive grinding stone or grinding wheel against a metal workpiece in a
regulated route to achieve a precision surface. Honing is most commonly used to improve
the geometric form of a surface, but it can also be used to improve overall finish products.
Hones come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but they all have one or more abrasive
stones that are put against the surface they're working on.
Our modern advancements in abrasives have allowed us to remove much more waste
than previously conceivable. In many applications where "through machining" is possible,
this has displaced grinding.
